Earlimart is an independent rock band based in Los Angeles, California. They are named for the town of Earlimart, California. Their sound bears resemblance to Elliott Smith, The Pixies, and Sonic Youth, among contemporaries like Pedro the Lion, with whom they performed in a 2004 tour. The band's sixth full length album entitled "Hymn and Her" was released July 1, 2008.
