Clay Lacy Born August 14, 1932
Wichita, Kansas, U.S.Website http://www.claylacy.com/ Clay Lacy is an American businessman and pilot. Lacy founded Clay Lacy Aviation, Inc. in 1968, which has since become one of the largest air charter operators in the world. Clay Lacy still acts as CEO of the company.
Lacy has built up more than 50,000 flight hours across his career,[1] coming in behind Evelyn Johnson's nearly 58,000 flight hours. As most of Lacy's work has been flying charter, stunt and filming flights, he is Pilot In Command most of the time. Through this he has more PIC hours (not total) hours in a jet than anyone on Earth.[citation needed]
Clay is commonly spotted doing stunts in his vintage aircraft at airshows across the nation. In addition he has been the pilot of Learjets for over 2500 photography flights,[2] the majority of which are air-to-air scenes for movies and television programs.
