Civil Position

Civil Position (Ukrainian: Політична партія „Громадянська позиція“) is a political party in Ukraine registered in March 2005 (as Mighty Ukraine (Ukrainian: Політична партія "Могутня Україна"); it was named that till 2010[1]).[2] The party did not participate in any parliamentary elections.[2] It is lead by former Minister of Defence of Ukraine Anatoliy Hrytsenko.[2]

During the 2010 Ukrainian local elections the parties result where nihilistic.[3] Civil Position gained one seat in the Ternopil city council during the 2010 Ukrainian local elections.[3]

In August 2011 the party announced it will merger with European Party of Ukraine.[4]
