Civil Hospital Turbat

Civil Hospital Turbat is located in Turbat City, Balochistan. Turbat district has a population of about 0.5 million. The hospital was established in the early sixties with a small building in the center of the city. Later on the civil hospital building was expanded. Now the hospital has been shifted to a new site which was formerly the headquarters of USAIDS at Makran.

Abilities

This hospital is able to fulfill the demands of the whole Makran Region. Currently having 200 beds for admitted patients and 10 beds for emergency purposes. Modern operating theatre is functional 6 days a week with many modern facilities. There are three ambulances available for emergency purposes 24 hours a day. Currently Dr. Javed Baloch is Medical Superintendent of the Hospital. In actual it provides health services to 2000 outpatients daily which is quite good for a population of more than 0.5 Million.
