- Nancy affair

The Nancy affair (Affaire de Nancy) was a mutiny on 31 August 1790 by the city garrison of Nancy during the French Revolution. The officer Antoine-Joseph-Marc Désilles died in it and the city's Porte Désilles is named after him.
