Biography
Imperial Noble Consort Chun Hui nee Su (蘇氏) was the daughter of Sujinam (蘇召南) and Han Chinese of origin. She was born in the fifty- second year of Emperor Kangxi's reign and lived 1713 - 1760. She entered the Forbidden City in Beijing during Yongzheng Emperor's reign and became a concubine of the then Prince Hong Li. When in 1735 Prince Hong Li ascended the throne as the Qianlong Emperor, Lady Su was given the title of Imperial Concubine Chun (Chinese: 纯嫔). After the mourning period of the late Yongzheng Emperor she was raised by rank to consort (纯妃) and to Noble Consort (纯贵妃) in 1745.
In 1760 Lady Su was given the title of Imperial Noble Consort Chun (meaning purity). However, Lady Su died several days year later in the twenty-fifth year of Qianlong Emperor's reign. She was given the posthumous title of Imperial Noble Consort Chun Hui and was later interred in the Yuling Mausoleum for concubines. In 1765 Qianlong's second empress was demoted. She died the following year and was interred next to Lady Su's chest.

Mistake
Qing Sigao (清史稿) factual documents about the Qing dynasty made a mistake in Lady Su's surname. Her surname has never changed to Sugiya like some of Qianlong's concubines.
