- Hujowa Górka
-
Hujowa Górka (sometimes Chujowa Górka) is a place near Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp, where in April 1944 the Nazis exhumed and burnt the bodies of around ten thousand previously killed Jews. The place takes its name from the surname of Unterscharführer Albert Hujar,[1] who is portrayed by Norbert Weisser in Schindler's List and who ordered the original executions. It is also a mockery of Hujar's surname, meaning "Prick's Hill" in Polish.
