Chris Moore (businessman)

Chris Moore has been CEO of Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc since January 2008.

He helped set up Domino's Pizza UK & IRL plc master franchise in 1993, promoted to CEO in 2008 and is most noted for steering Domino's Pizza through the recession to sell 37m pizzas in 2008, with a rise in turnover of 8.4% to £350.8m, pre-tax profits up 24.7% to £23.4m and a new Domino's outlet in UK and IRL being opened every week. This created 1,600 jobs (2008) in the UK, with plans to open 50 more stores in the UK in 2009 creating 1,500 new jobs.^[1]

Early days

Chris Moore was born in Weymouth, Dorset but moved to Brazil when he was 17.^[2]
