Hunter played collegiately for the Michigan Wolverines of the University of Michigan as a power forward.
Pro career
Hunter played professionally overseas in Poland (AZS Koszalin) and Belgium before signing with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the NBA Development League prior to the 2008-09 season.[1] He signed with the Knicks on April 14, 2009,[1] appearing in 2 pre-season games, averaging 2 points in 4½ minutes per game before being waived on October 22.[2] On November 20, Hunter signed with the Golden State Warriors, making him the first call-up of the 2009-10 NBA D-League season.[2]
On December 28, 2010, Hunter was waived by the Mad Ants due to injury.[3]
