Chortarolimni or Hortarolimni (Greek: Χορταρόλιμνη meaning the weed lake) is a lagoon located in the east of Lemnos. Nearby places includes Kalliopi to the north, Roussopouli to the south and Romano to the west. The area is 2,300 ha.
The lagoon is dry during the summer months.
The lake was once known as Mylou Lake (1738 Pococke) and Komi Lake (1958 Conze). Together with Alyki in Kontopouli and a third small lake Asprolimni (Ασπρόλιμνη, meaning white lake) and area of 500 m. It narrows during the summer, it creates a great ecosystem.
