Career
South Korea
Choi started his professional career in 2007 by playing with FC Seoul in K-League.[1] In 2010 he was transferred to Ulsan Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Dolphin.[2] for an undisclosed fee in the winter transfer window.
India
On 30 January 2011 he along with his Mipo FC teammate Han-Wook arrived for trials in Kolkata. On 10 February United Sports Club signed him along with Sunil Chhetri on transfer deadline day for the rest of the I-League season as their Asian foreign player.[3]
