Children in Crisis is a charity based in London, United Kingdom which states that it "exists to improve the lives of children around the world affected by conflict, deprivation, poverty or other hidden crises, by working in partnership with local communities to provide education, healthcare and protection."[1]
In 2005, it worked with other partners in Afghanistan to provide education for children who had been unable to attend school.[2] It also helped HIV/AIDS education in Sierra Leone.[3] and with schools in East Timor.[4]
