History
Chhotubhai Gopalbhai Patel Institute of Technology (CGPIT) was established in 2009 with permission from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and has four primary departments:
- Electronics & Communication (60 Seats)
- Civil (60 Seats)
- Computer (60 Seats)
- Information & Technology (60 Seats)
Academics
Degrees currently offered include B.Pharm, M.Pharm, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, BSC Nursing, MSC Biotechnology, MSC Microbiology, DPed, and bachelor's degrees in various fields of engineering.[2] There are plans to add an MBA program in the 2010-2011 year.[3]

Social upliftment of the community in general and rural community in particular, through the spread of technical education, research, training and consultancy services.
