SOS Children's Villages Canada is a registered charity in Canada. It is a member of the world's largest charity for orphaned and abandoned children.
The Charity is non-political and non-denominational. Meaning it does not associate itself with a political party or religious group. It is inclusive to diverse opinions, thoughts and beliefs while working towards the helping of orphan and abandoned children. SOS Canada is a member SOS Children's Villages International operating in more than 130 countries which has an established track record of more than 50 years of caring for the world's most vulnerable children.
SOS Children's Villages are recipients of the Hilton Humanitarian Prize in 2002, and have been nominated 13 times for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Renowned supporters include Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama.
