Cheap Tickets Canada is an online and retail travel services company with headquarters and a call center in Saanich near Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The company sells airline tickets, cruises, hotel accommodations, rental cars and personalized vacation packages.

The agency had its beginnings in Victoria in 1996 when husband-and-wife team Normand and Kirsten Schafer, fresh out of university, started Far and Away Adventures. They focused on personalized tour packages and worked out of a 150-square-foot (14 m2) office storage room. The firm's popularity grew quickly and in 1998 the business' name was officially changed to Cheap Tickets and Travel.

In the late 90s the owners also relaunched their website under the name Cheap Tickets Canada.com to create one of the first online travel agencies in the country. In 2005[1] and 2006[2] Canadian Business' Profit Magazine placed the agency on their list of 100 fastest growing companies in Canada. In 2006 Cheap Tickets and Travel was also named by the Victoria Times-Colonist as one of Vancouver Island's 25 fastest growing companies.

While the agency has a physical storefront presence in the Victoria area, nation-wide bookings have long outnumbered local sales as its online technology has long been an important aspect of the business. Cheap Tickets and Travel is also one of only a handful of online travel companies in Canada that protect all customer purchases through its registration with Consumer Protection BC.[3]
