Chauncy Welliver (born 28 April 1983) is a heavyweight boxer from Spokane, Washington who also lives in and represents Auckland, New Zealand. He has a career record of 50-5-5.^[1] In the October 2011 WBO Rankings, Welliver is the #10 rated Heavy Weight in the world.^[2] He is also rated the #8 HW in the world by the WBC.^[3] He is the current WBC Continental Americas HW Champion and WBC Asian Boxing Council HW Champion, as well as holding the interim WBO Asia Pacific HW Championship. Welliver just became the WBO China Zone HW Champion with a victory over Rob Calloway on October 3rd, 2011. Chauncy Welliver is also the #1 rated Native American HW Boxer by the Native American Boxing Council.^[4] His ring name is the Hillyard Hammer. He is currently trained by former Native American HW Title Challenger, Joe "The Boss" Hipp. His current manager is Roland Jankelson. He is also a HW Consultant for the boxing radio show On The Ropes.^[5]
