She grew up in a small village called Astwood Bank, then at 13, she and her family moved to a village near Stratford-Upon-Avon, South Warwickshire. Television
In 2007 Clemmow graduated from Guildhall Drama School with a BA Hons in Acting. She lived in London after graduating; and decided to see if she could find a TV role without an agent. She wrote to a lot of TV companies. She decided to try for the role of Karen Hollins' teenage daughter Imogen after watching several episodes of BBC's Doctors. She wrote and emailed the casting directors at Doctors three times about whether Imogen would appear on the show; and whether they would be casting for this role. She was later called in for an audition and subsequently won the role.[2] After winning the role of Imogen she moved to the Midlands to be near the studio where Doctors is filmed.
She is currently filming the new series of Doctors for 2011.
