Charles B. Hazeltine

Charles B. Hazeltine (May 11, 1892 - September 8, 1965) was born in the state of Washington. He attended the United States Naval Academy from 1909 to 1912.[1] In 1913 he joined the U.S. Army and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant. Over the next several years he rose through the ranks and became a colonel during the Second World War.[2] From 1942 to 1944 he served as chief of the Psychological Warfare Branch of the Allied Forces Headquarters in North Africa.[3] In 1946 he retired from the Army and died in Monterey, California, on September 8, 1965.
