Charisia

Charisia: Charisia (pronunciation: keh-RI-zhah, Greek: Χαρισία), modern Greek forms: Charissia and Hari(s)sia was an ancient city in ancient Arcadia.

It was located 10 stadia (7 to 8 km) from Skias and next to Trikolones. Its name is derived from the settler Charisius, he was one of the 50 sons of Lycaon and the relative of Pelasgus. Pausanias mentioned about the city obviously in that time when he passed by was situated in a decline. It was one of the Arcadian ciites that settled in Megalopolis and the founded by Epameinondas.^[1].

The location of the ancient city has never been founded, it is believed to be founded in the area of the modern Trilofos.
