Along with Chapman University School of Law it is one of the two professional schools of Chapman University.

History
The Chapman Business School was founded in 1977. It is located in the Arnold and Mable Beckman Business and Technology Hall, a purpose-built facility in the heart of Chapman University. The school is named after George L. Argyros, a Chapman alum and former U.S. Ambassador to Spain. Argyros has chaired the board of trustees of Chapman University since 1976, and was donated significant resources towards establishing Chapman as a leading national business school.[2] The business school was renamed in Argyros' honor in 1999.
Academics
Chapman Business School offers undergraduate degrees in business, including degrees in accounting (BS), Business Administration, and a BA in Economics. The school also offers the a graduate MBA program, in both a full-time, and part-time program. In 2010, Chapman also introduced a distance learning MBA program as part of its Brandman University offering.[3]
Faculty members include Vernon L. Smith, who won the Nobel Prize in 2002. Prof. Smith holds a joint appointment with the law school. In addition, he leads a five person research team of John Dickhaut, David Porter, Bart Wilson and Stephen Rassenti join the Argyros School of Business and Economics. Chapman Business School also publishes the journal Essays in Economic and Business History, Journal of Business and Management, and Journal of Business Research. Other journals published by the faculty include the Journal of Database Management, and the Journal of Operations Management.[citation needed]
Rankings
In 2008, The Princeton Review ranked Chapman Business School's undergraduate and graduate programs within its Top-25 programs in the country.[4] Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranks Chapman Business School as #46 in the country.[5]

Chapman Business School maintains a number of partnerships with leading global business schools. For instance, Chapman has a partnership with the Anglo-American University in Prague, Czech Republic.

Admissions
Chapman Business School seeks to prepare graduates who are ready to start careers in business, government or non-profit sectors. The focus of Chapman's programs is on creating leadership skills, such that graduates succeed in innovative and challenging industries.[6]
About half of the current graduate business school class are enrolled full time. A majority of the graduate students have had an average of 7 years of full-time work experience prior to entering graduate school, a factor preferred by the school. The average age at entrance to the MBA program is 25, but ages range from 21 to 58. Ten percent enter directly from undergraduate school.
