Chandrashekhar Azad park

Chandrashekhar Azad park or Alfred park is the biggest park of Allahabad. These days this park is also referred to as Company Garden.It has an area of 1.014 km².

Location

The park is surrounded by Georgetown, Civil Lines and the Darbangha Colony. Its coordinates are N25°27'9",E80°50,51"

Landmarks

Being a park. It do have some of very important sites in itself

• Chandra Shekhar Azad memorial, where Azad sacrificed his life.
• Prayag Sangeet Samiti, a music training institute.
• Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium
• Allahabad Museum
• Several big and small nurseries

Being the biggest park, it attracts a large amount of people. according to an estimate, approx 5000 people visit this park in duration of 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
