As with Gladness Men of Old

"As with Gladness Men of Old" is a Christmas carol, written by William Chatterton Dix on 6 January 1859, whilst ill in bed. It was first published in his own book, Hymns of Love and Joy, in 1867.

The music was written by Konrad Kocher in 1838. The same melody is used in the Christian hymn "For the Beauty of the Earth."
