Artur Cristovão (born November 28, 1954, Seixal, Portugal) is a Portuguese full professor in the Department of Economics, Sociology and Management at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro, Portugal. He graduated from the Technical University of Lisbon as an Agricultural Sciences student in 1978 and obtained his PH.D. in Continuing and Vocational Education - Extension Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA (1986). He is known for his research and teaching in the fields of Extension Education and Rural Development. Married and a father of five.
