Oxfordshire Guardian

The Oxfordshire Guardian is a free newspaper distributed throughout South and West Oxfordshire in England. It was launched in July 2011 and publishes around 17,000 copies between two issues, one covering the South and Vale of White Horse (namely Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, and the other covering Witney, Carterton and West Oxfordshire.[1] The paper is published by independent publisher Tri-Media and is a sister publication to the Oxford Journal and the Basingstoke Observer.

The South and Vale edition of the newspaper covers an area comparable to that of the South Oxfordshire Courier, which was published by the same group but closed in 2008.
