Nintendo events are events that take place where Nintendo give away a pokemon or tickets such as the eon ticket, which allows you to go to a place called Southern Islands and capture Latias or Latios( the one you didnt get in the video game.)In a Nintendo event, you can hook up to "wonder spots" or a wireless device that activates these electronic "poketreats" when you click on the mistery gift option.(mystery gift can be obtained by going to a pokemart and filling out the registration form. Aurora ticket unlocks deoxys for Fire Red version, Leaf Green version, and Emerald version, Eon ticket unlocks Latias or latios in Emerald version, Mystic ticket unlocks Lugia and Ho-oh in Fire Red version, Leaf Green version, and Emerald version ,and old sea map unlocks Mew in Emerald version.

Manaphy egg is unlocked in Pokemon Ranger from a Nintendo Event and has to be traded to Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum versions to hatch into a manaphy.(note that manaphy is lv one when you hatch it.) Membership Pass unlocks darkrai in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum versions. Oaks letter unlocks shaymin in Diamond and Pearl versions.
