John R Fortun (born December 8th, 1938) is an American and is a writer on the topic of Global Energy. John worked for over forty years in aerospace engineering since

graduating from San Jose State University. During his career the considerations of power, energy and system costs were everyday issues. He is now retired, but is working part-time in systems cost

modeling and analyses and a full time writer.

Biography

John R Fortun was born in Virginia Minnesota, then moved to San Francisco, California with his Mother and younger Sister in the early 1940s. In the 1950s he followed the new carrier of

aerospace engineering by attending San Jose State University. John and his wife Sylvia raised a family of two children Jonathan and Meredith in Cupertino, California.
