Previous = 2008The 2009 Le Mans Series season will be the sixth season of Automobile Club de l'Ouest's Le Mans Series. It will be contested over five events from April 5, 2009 to September 13, 2009. The first night event will also be held in Le Mans Series history.

On October 10, 2008, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) announced a preliminary 2009 schedule consisting of five rounds, with a possible addition of a sixth event. The 1000 km of Algarve in Portugal officially replaces the 1000 km of Monza, while the rest of the events from 2008 remain.
