School Mission Statement
It is our mission to inspire and educate our students through a curriculum of academic excellence in an environment that honors each child's unique portfolio of knowledge, skills, style, interests, experiences and aspirations.
Foothills Was founded in 1984 by a group of parents in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The Head of School Mary Lou Faddick is the original Founding Head and is still at the school today.
Foothills is a pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade independent day school with 200 students. It is located on a seven-acre campus in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, close to the intersection of I-70 and Kipling Blvd. Since its founding in 1984, it has been committed to creating an environment where children are joyful, active learners who become confident citizens. Foothills Academy honors the individual character of each child, encourage learning through hands-on experience and collaboration, and value intellectual vitality.
