Norsk Organisasjon for Terrengsykling

"Norsk Organisasjon for Terrengsykling" (NOTS) ( _en. Norwegian Organisation for Mountain Biking) is a organisation started by mountain bikers to protect riders rights of access to forests and fields in Norway.

NOTS want to keep the forests open for all to use, in accordance with "Allemannsretten" access laws. All mountain bikers are welcome to join NOTS.

NOTS represents mountain bikers in disputes with the authorities.

NOTS is a politically independent organisation that was started in 2004. The founders were a group of mountain bikers who saw the need for an organisation to safeguard the interests of all mountain bikers. The board of NOTS is today made up of mountain bikers from Oslo, Akershus, Trondheim, Stavanger and Buskerud.
