Karin Maria Bruzelius (born 19 February 1941) is a Swedish-Norwegian judge.
She was born in

She worked in theNorwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police from 1965, and became deputy under-secretary of State there in 1979. From 1983 to 1987 she worked as a lawyer, before returning as deputy under-secretary of State. She was promoted to permanent under-secretary of State in 1989, as the first female to hold such a position.
