Indonesian Linux Motivator Foundation

Yayasan Penggerak Linux Indonesia (YPLI) or the Indonesian Linux Motivator Foundation is a non-profit organization that develop Linux and other Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) software and brainware in Indonesia, including profession certification.Other activities are providing advocation, seminars speakers and documents in Bahasa Indonesia regarding Linux/FOSS.

YPLI activities

first releases (version 1.0 and 1.1) were Fedora based distros. BlankOn version 2 (Konde), 3 (Lontara), etc. are Ubuntu based. The [http://wiki.ubuntu-id.org/BlankOn/ Ubuntu Indonesia community] help the development of BlankOn 2 and 3. BlankOn developers and users mailing list is at http://groups.google.com/group/BlankOn/. YPLI with its BlankOn has been a case study of UNDP and UNESCO as one of a succesful example of FOSS implementation in the world.
