National Highway 72 links Ambala in Haryana with Haridwar in Uttarakhand. This is 200 KM Highway, which passes through Dehradun.

Of its total length, the National Highway 72 traverses 50 KM in Haryana, 50 KM in Himachal Pradesh and 100 KM in Uttarakhand.
