Home coloursAway coloursModum Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Modum, founded in 2007 as a merger between the first teams of Åmot IF, IL Moingen, Vikersund IF, Haugfoss IF and Geithus.[1] The merger plans had been ongoing for some time.[2]
It entered the league system for the 2008 season, taking the place of Åmot IF in the Norwegian Second Division. Åmot started anew in the Fourth Division. However, already in the first season Modum were relegated. In addition, Åmot won promotion, so in 2009 the teams face each other in the Third Division.
