Zuzana Paulechová

Zuzana Paulechová

Zuzana Štiasna-Paulechová (born in Bojnice, April 23 1963) is a Slovak pianist.

She was trained at the Bratislava's Conservatory and Academy of Performing Arts, where she is a professor nowadays; in addition, she's the head of the piano department Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica. Paulechová won the Slovak SR's Interpretation Competition both as a chamber musician (1984) and a pianist (1988), and was awarded the 1984 Paloma O'Shea Competition Spanish music prize and the 1985 Robert Schumann Competition's 2nd prize. She has performed internationally.
