Maggie Forrester

Maggie Forrester is a fictional character played on 'The Bold and the Beautiful'by actress 'Barbara Crampton', who had previously portrayed 'Leanna Love' on 'The Young and the Restless' from 1987-1993

Here's the short (non-detailed) form of her story. Maggie comes into the story as a sister-in-law to 'Eric Forrester'(John McCook). Her story starts as she comes to town to visit her daughter Jessica (Eric's niece) and while there she meets Dylan Shaw and they fall in love. What she doesn't know is that her daughter was once in a relationship with Dylan and is still in love with him. Whats makes it more interesting is that Dylan doesn't know Maggie is Jessica's mother nor does Maggie know that Jessica and Dylan were once involved. When it all comes out, as painful as it was for her, Maggie finally lets him go. A wonderful way to end a soap story if it were going to end there, but it doesn't.

One of Maggie's first friends on the show is 'Sheila Carter' but when she learned that Sheila was in love with Eric and had poisoned his wife, 'Stephanie Forrester (B&B)'(Susan Flannery) and blamed her, Sheila and Maggie begin a string of fights. The first one Maggie wins when the two scuffle and Sheila falls down on a fire poker.

The next time Maggie and Sheila fight, its over 'James Warwick (B&B)' (Ian Buchanan) a man they both are in love with. Sheila wins this one by kidnapping Maggie and holding her hostage. When she finally lets her go and Maggie recovers from the ordeal, she goes back after Sheila by cutting off her oxygen tank while Sheila lies in the hospital. However as Sheila always does, she recovers and goes back after Maggie, working to the end of having her arrested for attempted murder. Soon Maggie learns that Sheila was known for displaying the same kind of psychotic behavior with a another person, 'Lauren Fenmore' (Tracy Bergman) and her and Lauren meet and begin plotting together to get back at Sheila. Through all of this Sheila stays focused and is still able to seal her relationship with James and they have a child, which drives Maggie to the edge and again she gives up on love and finally leaves town.
