Kevin Griffin

Kevin Griffin (born October 1, 1968) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter.

Griffin formed the band Better Than Ezra in 1987 within a year after moving from Monroe, Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University in September 1986. The band had its greatest success in the 1990s with hits such as "Good", "In the Blood", and "Desperately Wanting" but continues to tour and produce recordings.

Griffin has also produced and co-written songs for other artists, such as Howie Day, Deborah Harry, Meat Loaf, and Graham Colton. Griffin co-wrote four tracks on Missy Higgins' debut album, "The Sound Of White", which included the hit "Scar" The album went ten times platinum in Australia. Most recently Griffin co-wrote Tristan Prettyman's single "Madly".

In 2006, Griffin and his family moved from New Orleans to Los Angeles.
