METALICA UK have rapidly become the number one tribute band to the gods of metal in not just the UK but also internationally along with the accuracy of their musical performance and explosive shows is also the singers uncanny resemblance both appearance wise and vocally to James Hetfield himself.Starting out in 2005 under the name of Feral Circus the band initially played as a bit of a hobby around local pubs & charity events. In late 2006 the band had gone from strength to strength proving themselves as a worthy tribute band to Metallica and as their status increased original band members Rick Denman (vocals & guitar) and Sam Horsfield (Drums) were joined by Joe Dobson (lead guitar) and Jamie Robinson (Bass & backing vocals).By 2007 the band were being headhunted across the uk and soon changed their name to METALICA UK to accommodate their popularity. The guys didn’t want to follow the trend of other tribute bands with cheesey names and so opted for something that was straight to the point, as is everything about the band.Before long the band were masters at what they were doing playing large scale events and delivering spectacular shows wherever they played, which has since seen them turn international, including seeing them being about to embark on their 2nd Turkish tour in the same year due to popular unprecedented demand. Further tours overseas are in the process of being finalized.From nightclubs & Biker events to concert halls & high profile venues these guys deliver sell out performances across the board, earning themselves the title “Masters of Metallica” as given to them by promoters and fans far & wide and will continue to do so delivering the most fast furious & authentic Metallica experience possible.
