Kinsley Construction

Kinsley Construction

Kinsley Construction is a family-owned business, founded in 1963 as a concrete services subcontractor. In the 1970s, Kinsley began serving the general contracting needs of clients, but retained the original trades people to continue performing many project tasks in-house. We have continually added support divisions to increase our cost control and schedule control capabilities.

Kinsley has grown into one of the most respected design/build, construction management and full-service general contracting firms in the mid-Atlantic region. This reputation and our long-term business relationships are a direct result of the high standards we set for integrity, quality, communication, performance and safety for all of our projects. We are proud to say that more than 70 percent of our work comes from repeat clients. Kinsley Construction is committed to setting the standard in all aspects of construction to ensure your project's success.

Some of Kinsley's Different Divisions Include:

Building:

Commercial/ RetailThe appearance and structure of a bank, shopping center, restaurant or other commercial/retail facility are no less important than the items being marketed. A beautiful building creates a good first impression, which in turn attracts potential customers and a greater profit. Kinsley understands this and uses techniques and materials to construct facilities that are impressive and functional while also fulfilling the needs of our commercial and retail clients.

Education/ InstitutionalA community is often known for its educational and institutional facilities, many of which are private. The construction process must consider the needs of these institutions to create a facility that is beautiful as well as functional. Kinsley understands that these facilities not only require a different approach in their design and construction, but must also have longevity and durability. Our goal is to build a facility that is a true representation of the educational, institutional and community ideals.

Food IndustryCompanies in the food industry require facilities that are high quality, efficient and clean. Kinsley's design and construction of food processing, distribution and cold storage facilities incorporates these important criteria as well as any other specific requirements. This experience and knowledge has allowed Kinsley to provide design and construction services to many national clients.

Health careHealth care facilities are a vital component of a community, as they provide services to help us achieve a greater personal wellbeing. Kinsley understands that these facilities have unique needs and requirements. These requirements are discussed in detail with the doctors, administrators and facility managers before beginning the design or construction process; so all expectations are clearly identified. As a strong believer in giving back to the community, Kinsley is proud to construct facilities that are beneficial to so many people.

ManufacturingTime is a precious commodity for manufacturing clients, and must be considered when planning the design and construction of a facility. Too much production downtime equals lost revenue. Kinsley has the experience to complete a complex manufacturing project with a fast schedule, a modular layout or a modified configuration. We understand the needs of our manufacturing clients and have the capability to meet tight schedules and reduce downtime, which makes Kinsley the right choice for an industrial project.

MunicipalMunicipal facilities are a vital component of a community, as they provide services that are necessary to maintain and support the community. Kinsley is well aware that these facilities have unique needs and requirements. These requirements are discussed in detail with the supervisors, administrators and township managers before beginning the design and/or construction process; so all expectations are clearly identified. Kinsley's depth of experience, self-performance capabilities and the continued development of cost saving construction techniques are very beneficial for our municipal clients.

OfficeAn office building is more than a facility that contains computers, furniture and employees. An office building with a good design that is constructed using state-of-the-art building techniques and materials can become an impressive showcase for a community. Kinsley understands this and strives to build office facilities that are impressive and functional while also fulfilling the needs of our professional clients

Renovation/ RestorationHistorical buildings create a variety of challenges during the design and construction process. They might be in a congested area, located in a historic district or have impaired structural integrity. Whether renovating or restoring an older structure, Kinsley has the experience to achieve the goal shared by the owners of these buildings: to successfully rehabilitate an aging structure to its former glory.

TransportationWhether it's a bridge, street, parking lot, parking garage or truck terminal, or any other type of transportation related project, Kinsley can provide the services you need for a successful project. Our self-performance and fabrication capabilities can provide our clients with significant schedule and cost savings. No project is too large or too small to receive Kinsley's best efforts.

Warehouse/ DistributionWarehouse and distribution facilities must efficiently handle a large quantity of products, and time is therefore a precious commodity that must be considered when planning the construction of this type of building. Kinsley's years of experience, self-performance capabilities and the development of cost saving construction techniques helps our clients meet tight schedules. Let Kinsley construct your warehouse/distribution facility so you can spend your time distributing products with less time waiting for a building.

Kinsley Manufacturing

Kinsley's Manufacturing Division provides structural steel for columns, beams and other items used during the construction of buildings, as well as miscellaneous metals that include stairs and handrails. Kinsley Manufacturing also fabricates steel.

Kinsley Manufacturing has provided steel for commercial, retail, educational, office, food industry and warehouse/distribution clients.

K-ROCKK-ROCK is a unique "square-lock fastening" block that was designed for engineered earth reinforced walls. The blocks have a square-lock groove and dual anchor system that develop a bond that exceeds the tensile strength of the geogrid, and the walls are engineered based on lock soil condition. K-ROCK has a face area of eight square feet, which allows this type of wall to be completed sooner than walls built with other wall systems. K-ROCK walls can be up to six feet high before earth reinforcement is necessary, because each full block weighs approximately 2,400 pounds.

PrecastKinsley's precast concrete facility uses a self-compacting mix that reduces man-hours, decreases imperfections and delivers panels in 30 percent less time than standard concrete mix. Kinsley's precast division delivers products of exceptional quality that are within the budget and on time.

RebarKinsley's Rebar Division supplies concrete reinforcing steel for projects of all sizes, ranging from several hundred pounds to several hundred tons. We offer fabricated or straight stock domestic ASTM A615 Grade 60 Black and Epoxy Coated reinforcing steel. Our division also includes estimating and detailing services for all project types including commercial and private buildings, schools, churches, water and wastewater treatment plants and any other type of project requiring reinforcing steel. We service a wide area in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and West Virginia.

At Kinsley Rebar, we understand the fast-paced construction schedules of today's market, and are committed to ensuring prompt service while still providing the quality our customers deserve.

SteelKinsley Divisions: Manufacturing - Steel Kinsley Manufacturing has in-house estimators who use blueprints to determine how much steel is required for a project and the type of connections needed to assemble the steel. Our detailers then use computers to draw the pieces. The raw material is cut, welded, bolted and painted per blueprint specifications. Our steel erectors can erect steel in the field for Kinsley's projects and also for outside customers.
