That'll Learn Ya!

That'll Learn Ya!

That'll Learn Ya! was started in February 2008 on 2MCE's popular student timeslot of Beat Cafe, Wednesdays 4pm - 6pm.

That'll Learn Ya! is hosted by talented radio presenter, Will Dirickx-Jones who is known for other shows on 2MCE and Highland FM. The show has made its name due to the noteable guests that have appeared and has earned the name of 2MCE's 'home of exclusives'.

Notable Guests

----Nicole Atkins is a critically acclaimed singer/songwriter who was named on Rolling Stone's List of Singers to watch in 2007- Her critically acclaimed debut album "Neptune City" is out now and she has performed at Lolapalooza as well as on Letterman and Conan O'Brien. Will talked to her while she was driving on the highway so she had to pull over so she didnt crash and they talked Slash, David Letterman, Donny Osmond and James Bond.

Steve Rucker is 'The Man' behind the music of "Captain Planet" and a noted composer for film and television.

There has been controversy over getting former Gladiator Vulcan to appear on the show after Studio4 co-ordinator Nic Cooke was allegdedly heard to make some nasty about the former Gladiator star. Will was then heard to say "Vulcan musn't be too tough" in reference to Nic's comments keeping him away from the program. Debate over whether he was named after a dishwasher or not goes on.

The Home of Exclusives

----That'll Learn Ya! has earnt the name, 'the Home of Exclusives' on 2MCE Bathurst with its ability to keep up with the news and popular culture.
