The Mighty Jungle

The Mighty Jungle is a children's television show co-produced by Halifax Film [ [http://www.halifaxfilm.com Halifax Film] ] and Decode Entertainment [ [http://www.decode.tv/ Decode Entertainment] ] , both DHX Media Companies [ [http://www.dhxmedia.com DHX Media] ] , in association with CBC Television [ [http://www.cbc.ca CBC] ] . The Mighty Jungle is a live action puppet series for pre-schoolers, the narrative of which is substantially developed and guided by its pre-school target audience.

Babu the Meerkat, along with his friends Bruce the Gorilla and Rhonda the Rhinoceros capture the spirit of the times; the hopes, fears, frustrations, the joys and sorrows and silliness of children while exploring how pre-schoolers play and overcome obstacles both physical and emotional.

The Mighty Jungle is broadcast in Canada on the CBC Television [ [http://www.cbc.ca/programguide/program/the_mighty_jungle_hd CBC.ca - Program Guide] ] in the Kids’ CBC programming block, weekdays at 8:45am.
