semi-major axis greater thanJupiter and almost crosses the orbit of Jupiter when near perihelion. Both JPL and theDeep Ecliptic Survey (DES) classify it as a centaur. But theMinor Planet Center (MPC) does not list it on their list of centaurs.cite web
