Perfection of Wisdom School
- Perfection of Wisdom School
Perfection of Wisdom School, or the Prajnaparamita School is a Mahayana Buddhist school of the first centuries BE. As the name suggests, Perfection of Wisdom/Prajnaparamita Buddhism was centered around a vast body of Mahayana literature called the Perfection of Wisdom/Prajnaparamita Sutras. This school was later absorbed and amalgated into the Madhyamaka/Yogacara schools of Mahayana Buddhism, and through them, gradually, into many other schools of Buddhism, including Zen.
