Plot

PANNIC BUTTON is a 2007 TV movie which was released on 3 Novemeber 2007 and which aired with a great success.The movie relates the life of a small Alden family which comprises of a young mother Kathy(Holly Marie Combs),her husband Richard (Roark Critchlow) and their son Sam(Max Burkholder) who moved together to a new neighborhood.After a wife is the victim of a violent crime, unknowingly the young couple moves into a state-of-the-art, gated community to escape the dangers of the outside world. They strike up a quick friendship with their recently-divorced next-door neighbour Caleb(Patrick Muldoon), who they quickly learn is not as good-natured and friendly as they thought, but a sociopath who becomes obsessed with Kathy.At many occasions Caleb tries to kill Kathy who becomes alert that the sociopath may go to any extent to get her even if there is need to part her son of his way.The young Sam Alden discovers the truth before everybody and tries to warn his mother from the danger of the new neighbour but as always is too late.Caleb becomes impulsive and finally strikes.He take kathy as hostage and sequestrate her to death. At the end of the movie Kathy(Combs) succeed to escape from his trap and the movie ends with the happy Alden Family having back their mother.
