Blackwell-Tonkawa Municipal Airport

is a public use airport located five nautical miles (9 km) southwest of the central business district of Blackwell, in Kay County, Oklahoma, United States. It is owned by the cities of Blackwell and Tonkawa.

Facilities and aircraft

Blackwell-Tonkawa Municipal Airport covers an area of 209 acres (85 ha) at an elevation of 1,030 feet (314 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 17/35 with a 3,501 by 60 ft (1,067 x 18 m) with an asphalt surface. For the 12-month period ending May 6, 2008, the airport had 2,400 aircraft operations, an average of 200 per month, all of which were general aviation. At that time there were 15 aircraft based at this airport, all single-engine.
