Fraser started his sporting love affair with the round ball game. He played soccer for
Greenock Morton before moving toAustralia in1980 to pursue a professional soccer career inBrisbane . Fraser moved toMelbourne in1992 where he has lived with wife Chez since.Over the past 20 years he has worked with major companies in General Management or CEO roles having national and/or international responsibilities with Inchcape PLC,
Fuji Xerox ,Adecco and Cendant Mobility.Fraser's responsibilities have ranged from companies with annual revenues of A$2m to A$420m and employee numbers from eight to 500. He has been involved in establishing, leading, growing and branding businesses across Australia and the Asian region. His exposure to businesses and brands in different markets has provided a depth of understanding and experience.
From 1996 to 1999 he worked with global recruitment giant
Adecco , holding the role as Australia & New Zealand CEO. In1999 Fraser was appointed as partner and CEO of Melbourne based HR consulting firm Hamilton Watts International (HWI) with operations inAustralia ,Singapore ,Malaysia and theUK . In July,2000 the globalNYSE listed Cedant Corporation (annual net revenue in excess of US$20b) acquired HWI. Following the acquisition, Fraser joined Cedant Mobility as Managing Director Asia Pacific, reporting to the US parent and was the company's Australian director.t Kilda Football Club
Fraser joined the
St Kilda Football Club in2005 after a number of consulting assignments with the club over the two previous years. • Announced the Club's intentions to move to Belvedere Park,
Frankston in 2010 along with the development of a state of the art training and administration facility.
• Announced new major sponsorJELD-WEN which signed with the Club for three years.
• Announced new sponsors includingUD Trucks , ISC,Turtle Island ,Parks Victoria , Maximum Capital, Bond St Dental Studio, Marshall Batteries and 2XU as well as re-signingMusashi ,Coca-Cola , Linen House and Jayco.
• Made key football appointments including Matthew Drain as GM of Football, David Misson as GM of Strength and Conditioning, Dr. Tim Barber as Club Doctor, Andrew Wallis and Luke Pickett as Physiotherapists,Stephen Tingay as Weights Coach andSimon Madden as Ruck Coach.
• Made key off field appointments including Anthony Moore as GM of Commercial Operations and Matt Schmidt as GM of Communications and Community Relations.
• Launched Saints in the Community program including a partnership withParks Victoria and 'Keep The Bay Clean' initiative.
• Launched Saints Central – pioneering theAFL online space.
• ChangedVFL affiliate club from Casey to Sandringham which brings St Kilda closer to its heartland, cementing the Saints as the Bayside Club. One of Fraser's legacies at the Saints has been steering the Club's move of training and administration facilities to Frankston. The Club plans to start planning and development soon with the elite training facility to be completed during the 2010 season. When complete, $11m will feature a
MCG sized oval, gymnasium, rehabilitation pool, meeting rooms, lecture theatre and an indoor sports hall. These facilities will also be made available to local schools, health providers and sporting associations.
