Danilo Mayer also know as Danilinho (Little Dan) is a fictional mutant in the soap-opera Os Mutantes - Caminhos do Coração. He is a mutant and the most promeniently homosexual in the series dealing with both his sexuality and his mutant latent powers

Personality

Danilo is the stereotype of a effeminated man in the beggining of the series. He is taunted by his brother Rodrigo who possess the power of hypnosis and he frequently tried to seduce Danilo's "girlfriend". He hide this fact for being gay to his father as he annouce he will marry a girl called Lucia to prove he is a heterosexual in the second season he reveals his father Aristoteles he is gay much to his chagrin but he comes to accept however seen's to be bothered by Danilo's effeminacy and attraction to every male next to him. Danilo is very spoiled and cannot deal without his wealth. As the series progress he become more and more mature towards his mutant nature and responsabilty to protect the people.

Outline

Danilo began dating Lucia. She was looking for a job and she saw the opportunity to gain some money. She eventually fell in love with him, but become confused by his gay nature. Even on her wedding day, she still had doubts about marrying him. She accepted and they married. At the wedding one of their guests, Dr. Cesar Rubicão, transformed into a werewolf and rampaged over the wedding party.

Not even their honeymoon Danilo and his wife had peace. A mutant shapeshifter called Metamorpho invaded their room and punched Danilo while Lucia was bathing. Metamorpho took his appearance and voice and posing as Danilo he had sex with Lucia and then reveal himself to be Metamorpho and raped and impregnated her. They keep this fact a secret until the second season when Metamorpho reapperad to their mansion and told Danilo's father, Aristoteles their secret, shocking him. Before that, Danilo's brother, Rodrigo also seduced her and also had sex with her. Fearing for the life of the baby, Lucia travelled to the rural zone when their house were attacked several times. Unfortanetly her child died and revealed to be Meatomorpho's son, he could shapeshift and this caused abortion. Danilo and Lucia divorced, breaking him into sadness.

Danilo discovered he also were a mutant more specifically like his brother Toni possessing super-agility but he also posessed superhuman strength a power Toni doesn't had and he would use his power for the League of Well and fight against the aliens, vampires, werewolfs and evil mutants.

Powers and abilities

Danilo in the first season doesn't not show any special abilities as his others brothers and cousin also had. In the second season he jumped from a large distance and knocked a werewolf attacking his girlfried and become very clearly he had powers simillar to Tony's such super-agility. Later he proved to be much stronger than normal as he fight with the vampire Vlad, who possess great strength to overpower a human. Danilo can jump very high and land unscathed. As joke, every time he fight against a evil mutant such a vampire or a werewolf when a lady is in danger he take the pose of big male, bold and unwavering before attack the villain. Evidenced whem he saved his girlfriend Lucia and his friend Janet from a werewolf and the vampire Vlad, respectivaly. Hecan be compared in combat with Toni, but his moves, kicks and jumps are more femminine than his straight brother.
