History

Karrell Fox (January 30th 1828 - March 12th, 1998) and grew up to become one of the most influential magicians of the 20th century. When he was a child, his parents operated a small restaurant in East Rainelle, West Virginia. A customer sneaked out without paying his bill, but left behind a few small tricks. Karrell appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show at the age of 18, and was co-owner of a Detroit magic shop. Karrell Fox was one of the first Trade Show magicians and billed himself as "King of Korn". He also created the "Magic Wold of Ford" for the Ford Motor Company and toured with it for many years. He later had his own TV show, performing as Milky the Clown.

He was a regular performer at "Abbot's Get-Toether". Abb Dickson was Karrell's "Partner in Fun" for more than 25 years, performing with him at magic conventions all over the world. Karrell Fox served as the 48th President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (1986-1987).

Karrell Fox is now buried at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon, Michigan.
