John M. Morganelli

John M. Morganelli has been the District Attorney for Northampton County, Pennsylvania, since 1992 and is the 2008 Democratic Nominee for Pennsylvania Attorney General. [http://www.johnmorganelli.com/]

Biography

Morganelli was born November 12, 1955. He and his wife of 27 years, Diana (née Goretti), have three children. Morganelli won several awards at the end of his high school career in 1973 including Citizenship-Leadership Award from Veterans of Foreign Wars, History Award from Daughters of the American Revolution, and the John F. Kennedy Award for Leadership in Student Government.

In May 1977 Morganelli was a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was ranked fifth in a class 305 with a final cumulative quality point average 3.9 and a perfect 4.0 average in his major.

Morganelli earned his Juris Doctorate in May 1980 from the Villanova University School of Law also in Pennsylvania.
