Bass 305

Bass 305 one of the Miami bass artists from DM Records and well known in the Car audio bass genre. This was very popular music that came in a wave in the late 80's and early 90's. Most of this music was instrumental with synthesized voices along with heavy use of TR-808 and TR-909 bass. The name Bass 305 comes from Miami area code 305.

This type of music started in South Florida and spread mainly throughout the southern states, across Texas to California.

Other artists in the Car audio bass genre include Techmaster P.E.B, DJ Magic Mike, Beat Dominator, Bass Mekanik, Quad Force, Bass Patrol, Kraftwerk, Dr Crankenstein, Power Supply, Knights of Bass, Quad Maximus, MC A.D.E. and Innovative Bass Productions.

Similar music during that time involved Rap music artists such as Nemesis, Ron C, 2 Live Crew, DJ Laz, Half Pint and many more.
