Ron Ficarro

Ron Ficarro is an American musician currently in the California band I Am Ghost [www.myspace.com/iamghost] . His previous bands include Third Estate who was from his hometown, Rochester, New York.

Music career

Third Estate

Ficarro has toured America with both his bands. One year on Warped Tour with Third Estate, him and the rest of the band were unmentioned, unpaid, and starved to get a plot of land to play on, though they had to build their own stage everyday. They were offered food by other bands on the tour but wouldn't accept the offer due to pride. Third Estate was never signed but did self-release an 8 song EP entitled "Ready for a Revolution". I Am Ghost

After Ficarro parted Third Estate, he was brought into I Am Ghost by drummer Ryan Seaman's suggestion, who has since left the band. He joined I Am Ghost in August 2007 replacing Brian Telestai. He also replaced Kerith Telestai on background vocals though no replacement was made for her violin. He toured with them for many months before recording bass for their sophmore full-length, Those We Leave Behind in Maryland.
